First week below the training plan

This week was a bit disappointing. I had a little knee injury (little overexpansion of my patellar ligament) and had to pause for two days. But I am in a pretty good condition and the marathon is not at risk. There are only 5 weeks left until the big day. Now it’s up to my friends and colleagues to support me. I did 11 weeks of preparation and in total 520 km of running – this is 70% of the work! But i only managed to collect 36% of my fundraising goal of 1,000 Euro for Project AWARE. My training this week (48 km in total):

Monday: rest
Tuesday: 7.5 km Fartlek run in 40:07
Wednesday: core training
Thursday: 6.4 km easy run in 32:56
Friday: rest
Saturday: 11.75 km steady run in 1:02:00
Sunday: 22.1 km long run in 2:05:42
